Course Overview

Core Product Training for AccountMate SQL and Express

This online product training course covers the major features and functionalities in each of the core modules that make up AccountMate for SQL and Express. The core modules include System Manager, General Ledger, Inventory Control, Purchase Order, Accounts Payable, Sales Order, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.

The class is divided into multiple sessions with varying lengths depending on the module. Refer to the Course Outline and Course Schedule for details. The class aims to provide users with a deeper understanding of how settings in the master records affect certain transactions, reports, and vice-versa. The training course is also designed to help attendees save time and become more productive by providing tips and tricks on how to best use the AccountMate application. Hands-on exercises are provided to facilitate the learning process and give the attendees a chance to have one-on-one interaction with the instructor.

Target Audience

Solution Providers: This course is mandatory for new Solution Providers who must fulfill our training requirements. All current Solution Providers who want to send new staff members and associates for the first time are also welcome.

Registered Users: This course is open to users who are using a currently supported version of AccountMate for SQL and Express. First-time users are welcome as well as users who are upgrading to a current version of AccountMate for SQL and Express, and all current users who want to send staff members and associates to brush up on the latest features.

Pre-requisites

Attendees must have a good understanding of basic accounting concepts and basic workflows in accounting software. First time users must view all E-Learning videos for the core modules in preparation for this class; otherwise, you may be behind on some of the discussion.

Attendees are expected to have installed AccountMate for SQL or Express (either the Demo or live copy will do) before attending the training class to participate in the hands-on exercises. We will not spend time to install the software during the training class. Contact your AccountMate Business Partner if you need help installing the software.

You must have a high-speed internet connection. We strongly recommend using dual screens so one screen shows the presentation, and the other screen shows your AccountMate installation where you can follow along with the discussion. We also recommend using a headset rather than a built-in mic and speakers.
