Purchase Order – Revenue Code Reports

The Revenue Code Reports provide detailed information on the revenue codes set up using the Revenue Code Maintenance function as well as the assignment and usage of the revenue codes on the applicable maintenance records.

Revenue Code Listing

The Revenue Code Listing provides detailed information on the revenue codes including the assigned GL Account IDs for recording sales, sales returns, sales discounts and cost of goods sold. Revenue codes are set up using the Revenue Code Maintenance function.

This report is useful for reviewing the completeness of the revenue code records and for verifying the GL Account IDs assigned to each revenue code.

Revenue Code Usage Report

The Revenue Code Usage Report provides information on the assignment and usage of revenue codes on customer records, inventory item records, salesperson records, or a combination of customer and inventory item records. This report serves as a reference when finding which maintenance records are assigned specific revenue codes. It is most helpful when deactivating outdated revenue codes to find which maintenance records will be affected.

If you sort the report by revenue codes, you can choose to include in the report the revenue codes tracked by customer records, inventory records, salesperson records, or a combination of customer and inventory records. If you sort the report by customer, inventory, or salesperson records; you can opt to include only the records assigned with revenue codes, only the records for which no revenue codes are assigned, or all records.
