Inventory Control – Kit Item Reports
The Kit Item Reports provide a variety of information about the kit inventory
items. A kit item is an assembled inventory item out of several stock or
non-stock inventory items. These reports are useful in reviewing the different
component items that comprise a kit inventory item and in tracking transactions
that involve the kit inventory items.
Each of the Kit Item Reports is especially designed to provide several options
so you can narrow down data to the specific information needed. Read the
information below to get a closer look at each of the Kit Item Reports
available in AccountMate.
Kit Formula Listing
The kit formula listing report provides information about the component items
that are needed to build a kit inventory item as well as the component item
quantity and description. This report may include a kit inventory item that
requires prebuilding or not.

Kit item Transaction Report
The Kit Item Transaction Report provides detailed information about the
transactions involving the kit inventory items. These transactions may include
the building and disassembling of the kit inventory items.
You can select to include in the report the kit item’s components and the kit
items that are not sold yet. You have the option to show the kit and component
items’ serial numbers and lot numbers, if applicable, as well as the
descriptions. You can further select to generate this report only for
disassembled kit items, only for built kit items, or for both disassembled and
built kit items.
