Manufacturing - Print Production Slip
The Print Production Slip function allows you to preview and print a production slip that provides information needed for carrying out the job production, including manufacturing instructions, labor resource, machine time, and inventory item quantities needed to manufacture an inventory item. You can print production slips for jobs that have been posted to work-in-process. You can use this document as reference for the specific steps to manufacture an inventory item; for recording the labor time, machine time, and inventory item quantities actually used during production; and for scheduling the completion of the inventory item backorder quantities. You can print for an alignment test only. You can also elect to print all the previously printed production slips, all the unprinted production slips, or all production slips regardless of their printing status. You can print the production slips either on pre-printed forms or on a plain paper. You can set up these parameters in the MI Module Setup > Printing tab.
