The Print Production Slip function allows you to preview or print a production slip document for jobs that have been posted to work-in-process. Production slips provides information about a job production such as manufacturing instructions, step number being processed, work-in-process transaction date, labor and machine resources, details of component items needed to produce a master item, and remnant items, if any. This document also provides a space where you can write the component item quantities that were used in the actual production, actual time or work shift for labor and machine usage; and the actual remnant item quantity created in the specified step. You can use this document as reference for the specific steps to manufacture an inventory item; for recording the labor time, machine time, and for scheduling the completion of the inventory item backorder quantities.

You can choose to print the document without the report labels' background color, show the instructions for the specified step of the manufacturing process, and to print information about the remnant items included in the work order. You can also opt to print all the previously printed production slips, all the unprinted production slips, or all production slips regardless of their printing status.
