General Ledger - Analysis Reports
The Analysis Reports provides detailed information on the GL account ID balances in a given period and the changes in the GL account ID balance between periods. These reports help you in reviewing the trend of the company’s operations by analyzing the changes in the GL account ID balances. These reports are designed to provide filter options so you can narrow down data to the information you need.
Read the information below to get a closer look at each of the Analysis Reports available in AccountMate Enterprise.
Account Balance Change Report
The Account Balance Change Report provides information on any changes in the GL Account balance between two specified periods within a fiscal year. This report shows the beginning and ending account balance for each period and calculates the change between the two balances. This report is useful for verifying and monitoring the changes in the GL Account ID balances to better understand the company’s overall operations.
You can select to show in the report the GL Account IDs.

Account Balance Report
The Account Balance Report provides information on the GL Account ID balances either for each period or a range of periods. The year-to-date Account Balance report displays each GL Account ID’s cumulative balance at the end of every selected period while the period-to-date report displays the GL account ID’s balance for each period only. This report is useful for analyzing accounts for consistency, detecting pattern of changes for each GL account balance over a range of periods, and as a reference in preparing periodic forecasts.
You can select to generate this report using the period-to-date or year-to-date option. You can also opt to include zero balance accounts in this report.

Cash Receipts and Disbursements Report
The Cash Receipts and Disbursements Report provides detailed information on a cash account’s debit and credit transactions for a specific period. The receipts refer to the debit amounts posted to the cash account while disbursements refer to the credit amounts posted to that account. This report is useful for determining the transactions that increased or decreased the cash account. The report is also useful for verifying and monitoring the sources and uses of company funds.
You can select to generate this report either for the cash receipts only or cash disbursements only. You can also opt to show multi-currencies in this report.
